The theme of this cross is "Everlasting Love". The names of God are both numerous and beautiful. They are found throughout the scriptures. They are also found to occur at various periods of time. Personally, I find it particularly interesting that they were spoken by different kinds of beings. For example: God called himself by name, the Prophets called him by name, the Disciples called him by name, Angels called him by name, even the Demons called him by name. This being the case, surely this person called the Christ, was more than just a great man. Throughout all of history, the various names that he was called, define the shape of a cross on which he died for us.
Within the cross is a vine of nails that weaves behind the names. The vine gives life to the cross. Blossoming from within this vine are 6 copper roses. The roses are placed near the points where spikes were driven through his hands. The great "I AM" is the focal point. This is bronze plated and raised for emphasis, as if to say "I AM" all of these names to you in life. Place your hope in me. Let me be your King of Kings, let me be your Advocate, let me be your Prince of Peace.
