About the cross

Since the creation of man, God has demonstrated his love and provision for his people. Throughout the history of human life, people have called out to God, using various names. Prophets, angels, and even the demons have referred to God by name. These names are scattered throughout the Bible. May the meaning of this cross be a reminder that points us to the eternal love that awaits anyone who pursues his truth.

Description

The cross is composed of 23 Holy Names. The names comprising the center columns are 3/8" thick.  The names comprising the outer columns are 1/4" thick.  The names are cut from stainless steel and welded to steel substrate.  Each name is welded together to form an ornamental composition.  Flowing underneath the piece is a vine of nails.

The edges of each word are high-lighted with a bronze color and the surfaces of the words are polished to a reflective finish. The most interesting colors and effects result from different light intensities in the room. The cross is finished with a clear coat lacquer. It mounts to any wall by the use of two screws. Weight 15 lbs.

The Names of God

These 23 names are built into the cross:
Jesus, Son of God, I AM, The Way, The Alpha and Omega, Holy One, The Truth, Chief Cornerstone, Chief Shepherd, Dayspring, El Elyon, Messiah, Lamb of God, Morning Star, Advocate, Horn of Salvation, King of Kings, Prince of Peace, Root of David, Savior, Word of Life, Governor, Yahweh.

Artistic Theme

Within the cross is a vine that weaves behind the names. The vine gives life to the cross. Our Savior is alive an well throughout all time. Blossoming from within this vine are 6 copper roses. The roses are placed near the points where spikes were driven through his hands. The great “I AM” is the focal point. This is bronze plated and raised for emphasis.
